Dublin Web Festival: The Programme for the 2016 Edition Has Been Announced
The second edition of Dublin Web Festival is coming back to Filmbase, Dubin 2, from the 18th to the 20th of November 2016, and it promises three unmissable days for innovative filmmakers, actors and those with an interest in the webseries world or those who simply want to discover and enjoy carefully made films developed for the web format.

Using Lenny Abrahamson’s ROOM as a case study, Niall and Steve will discuss and examine how sound and sound design can be vital in visual storytelling.

James Moran, writer and director of Mina’s journal (Dracula’s first webseries) will festival premiere his series . James wrote the movies Severance, Cockneys Vs Zombies, Tower Block, and several TV episodes of Doctor Who, Torchwood, Spooks, Primeval, Crusoe, Spooks: Code 9, The Sparticle Mystery and Crossing Lines.

“The Players” is a Web series set in the world of eSports recently produced by beActive Entertainment. On his talk, Nuno Bernardo will cover all the steps and do’s and don’ts of creating and producing a Web series, covering all the steps, from the writing stage to final release, including the funding of this type of productions, using the making of “The Players”, his latest creation.

Dub Web Fest is the First Webseries Festival in Ireland. Established by French Filmmaker and Web Series Creator, Mikael Thiery and Videography Ireland Director, Erol Mustafov, The Dublin Web Fest (DubWebFest) unites digital media and tech worlds. We showcase screenings, host Youtube panels and welcome TV and Film production professionals to Dublin’s Filmbase over the course of three days.
