Dublin Web Festival – Official Selection 2016 Has Been Announced
This year, Dublin Web Festival has gathered an eclectic collection of webseries from all over the world with topics that go from light-hearted humour to thought-provoking dramas and documentaries.
A total of 56 entries are part of the selection of the festival’s second edition, which will be held between the 18th and the 20th of November 2016. These are distributed among 10 categories (Scripts, Projects in Development, Drama/Thriller/Mystery, Comedy, Comedy Sketches, Documentary/Reality, Sci-fi/Horror/Fantasy, LGBT, Animation, Music Videos and Transmedia Projects).
The categories of “Script” and “Projects in Development” were introduced this year to support emerging works and acknowledge projects that show outstanding potential.
Entries come from countries such as USA (12), Australia (7), France (6), Italy (5), UK (5), Canada (5), Ireland (4), Germany (3), Japan (2), New Zealand (2), Argentina (1), Norway (1), Estonia (1), Switzerland (1), Mexico (1), Russia (1) and Belgium (1).

Dub Web Fest is the First Webseries Festival in Ireland. Established by French Filmmaker and Web Series Creator, Mikael Thiery and Videography Ireland Director, Erol Mustafov, The Dublin Web Fest (DubWebFest) unites digital media and tech worlds. We showcase screenings, host Youtube panels and welcome TV and Film production professionals to Dublin’s Filmbase over the course of three days.
